Ms. Jennifer Holt
My name is Jennifer Holt and I am the School Adjustment Counselor at Memorial Elementary School. I graduated from Assumption College with BA in Psychology and Social & Rehabilitational Services and then went on to receive my Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker as well. I have worked in the Milford Public Schools for 15 years and thoroughly enjoy my job each and every day.
The Milford Public School System provides professional, in-school counseling services to students at all levels. As a School Adjustment Counselor I am able to provide assistance to those students whose social/emotional needs may compromise their learning. Providing such a service that will support the needs of our students will be beneficial in allowing each student to reach his or her potential both academically and psychologically. Referrals for in-school counseling may be made by school personnel and/or parents. As a School Adjustment Counselor I can provide individual and/or group counseling, crisis intervention and consultation to parents, school personnel or outside agencies.
