Ms. Roxane Lynch
I have been part of the Stacy School Community since 2000. I am originally from Massachusetts but lived in Vermont for 16 years. I returned to Massachusetts in 1992. At Stacy I began as an Inclusion Specialist for grades 6 and 7. I then became a Inclusion Specialist for the 6 Red Cluster. After this I instructed students in the 6 grade Language Based Classroom. I returned to the 7 grade Red Cluster as an Inclusion Specialist. Currently, I am teaching students in a 5 grade Sub-seperate classroom in the areas of Math, Reading and Language Arts. I love teaching and I want my students to love learning, therefore, I tend to incorporate a multiude of activites in my lessons. I feel that my students should have some responsibility for their learning, to invest 100% into their learning and to know they can learn. The classroom goal is "For students to become confident and independent learners."
I began a new after school program this year to target those students on my caseload, "Nemo Succeeds". This program meets 2 days after school for one hour. The purpose of this program is to focus on those skills needed to gain passing scores on the MCAS. I choose Nemo as the mascot because our motto is "No Matter How Hard the Task...Never Give UP!"
