Welcome to my classroom!  What follows are some things you need to know about what we do and what is expected of parents and students.

About Me
*30 year veteran in Milford; Certified Middle School History/Social Studies & Special Education

Quizzes and tests are a combination of traditional ("paper and pencil" multiple choice, fill-in, matching, etc.) and technological (online through Google Classroom).  Students will engage in writing in a variety of ways.  Short answer and quick writes will be utilized throughout the year. Students also get to ask questions of experts in the some of the cultures we study.

Topics to be covered:
The curriculum covers the time span from early man through the fall of the Roman Empire.
 
 
 
My homework is posted daily along with access to a variety of useful tools to help ensure students have a successful year in social studies. Digital and audio copies of the text are available on my Google Classroom page, as are study guides and additional materials and helpful links designed to help learn, master and enrich the content.   I encourage my students and their parents/guardians to access grades through the Family Portal to keep tabs on progress and contact me with any comments, questions or concerns.
