Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC)

ABOUT SEPAC

Milford SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) is made up of parents of children with disabilities, the staff that cares for these children and other interested parties. Our meetings are open to the public and held the second Wednesday of each month in the TRC at Milford High School at 6:30pm unless otherwise noted. MISSION

The mission of the Milford Special Education Parent Advisory Council is to increase the understanding of, respect for, and support of children with disabilities in the community.  

We seek to:

  • Provide parents and caregivers of students with disabilities with resources, tools, and information to help navigate the Milford Public School system;

  • Inform  and collaborate with the School Committee and Special Education Department about the needs of students who are currently receiving special education services and/or are involved in the special education eligibility process;

  • Encourage the understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of students with disabilities in the community.
