The third issue of the Milford Public Schools News is now available. We plan to offer this newsletter four times during the school year. Each issue will highlight major events, accomplishments, and recognition of students and staff and key issues or programs throughout the Milford district.

Milford High School received a second National Banner recognition from Special Olympics International for achieving national standards of excellence in the areas of inclusion, advocacy and respect. Milford High School is one of twelve schools in Massachusetts among 164 schools nationwide to achieve this recognition for the 2021-2022 school year!
The American Rescue Plan Act is the latest COVID-19 relief package to provide funding for school districts. Milford Public School Schools (MPS) will receive funds based on the same proportion under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Title-IA. Schools are required to reserve at least 20% of the funding they receive to address learning loss. The remaining funds are flexible and can address various needs related to COVID expenses through September 30, 2024 (read more)

In accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities ACT (IDEA 2004) and Massachusetts special education regulations, 603 CMR 28.00, the Milford Public School District provides screenings and/or evaluations for all children residing in Milford between the ages 3-21, when parents, caretakers, and/or teachers suspect the presence of a disability.
