  • MILFORD SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING INFORMATION

    During the school closure, the Milford School Committee meetings will be held virtually and broadcast live on MilfordTV.  If you would like to participate in the Invitation to Speak, please send your comments in an email to the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Kevin McIntyre, at kmcintyre@milfordma.com  Statements will be read during the Invitation to Speak portion of the meeting, must be five minutes or less in duration and abide by the policy of Public Participation at School Committee Meetings.

    I encourage everyone to continue to practice physical distancing throughout Governor Baker’s Stay at Home order.

    This is a message from the Town of Milford Board of Health:

    There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus.     Dear Milford Public School Families,

    I wanted to share a few quick updates with you this morning:

    • Later today you will receive a link for a survey.  I would appreciate it if you would take a few moments to complete it.  Your feedback is critical as we continue to shift and adjust our remote learning programming.

    • This evening at 6:00 pm on Milford TV the Milford Public Schools will host an hour long panel discussion entitled: Using Technology to Support the MPS Remote Learning Program.

  • SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR (4/21/2020)

    Dear Milford Public School Families,

    The Governor has canceled school for the remainder of the academic year.  We will continue our remote learning program through the last day of school on June 17th.  We expect additional guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education related to incorporating new learning standards through our remote learning program moving forward.  Expect more communication from me on this later in the week.  It is critically important for your child to remain engaged and connected to the remote learning program through the end of the school year.  I continue to appreciate your support and patience as we navigate these uncertain times together.

  • MPS District Update (4/6/2020)

    During this period of school closure, the Milford Public Schools will be providing students with a remote learning program, which may include analog materials, telephone calls, video conferencing, pre-recorded lessons, and other online services.   • Covid - 19 GRAB AND GO MEALS

    Grab and Go

    Breakfast and lunch will be available as a "grab and go" style at the loop of Memorial School  from 8-10 am and 11-1 pm, Monday - Friday for all kids, and one adult caregiver who comes with children.  No need to get out of your car  - just drive up !! Walkers are welcome as well.

    Dear Milford Public School Families,

    Governor Baker has extended the school closure until May 4th across the state of Massachusetts.  Our plans around learning opportunities will continue to evolve, and I am working closely with principals and teachers across the district.  We also anticipate further guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education on Friday. I will keep you posted on any changes later this week.  In the course of our planning we will continue to take into account the needs of families and students who are balancing a number of critical things. I appreciate your patience and support during this unprecedented time.
